a little bit of a resurrection
my life journal: cutmedown

inability

padlocks pierced through ruby lips, effervescent promises of silence. memories fleeting past you in darkness. darkness grabs you by the wrist, squeezes until veins constrict & shake, bend, pop;; you let go. you are running along the scarlet spatter on the white ceiling. associations, where dizziness equals breath because there is nothing else. frantic tears building up, a hurricane brewing. gray skies, black clouds, wind like a snake that penetrates skin & heart & soul. as fast as you run, you do not escape. never could, never will. clinging to, hope, glides through fingers like sand & water over palm.

i am asking him to let go of me;; when i remember that i have not seen his face in three years.
